Our Story

House Clearance The Hague was founded in 2019 by Ramon Chapper. The Hague has over 100 embassies, thousands of expat families rotating in and out, and — at the time — no clearance company that spoke their language or understood their timelines. That was the gap.

We started with one diplomatic family and grew from there. Today we are the local arm of the 247 House Clearance network, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK number 77138880.

What We Do

We clear houses, flats, offices, and storage units across the Haaglanden region — from a single room to a full diplomatic residence.

Our core services:

Every clearance starts with a free, no-obligation assessment.

How We Work

  1. You get in touch — WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form. We respond the same day.
  2. We assess the property — a free walkthrough to understand the scope and give you a fixed quote.
  3. We clear and sort on-site — usable items go to charity, recyclables go to certified facilities, the rest is processed responsibly.
  4. You get documentation — a clear overview of what went where, for your records or embassy reimbursement.

Why International Families Choose Us

English-first service — We communicate in English, Dutch, German, and French. In a market where most clearance companies operate only in Dutch, that matters when you are navigating a stressful move.

Electric fleet with zero-emission zone access — Our vehicles drive straight into The Hague’s diplomatic quarter (Lange Voorhout, Noordeinde, Binnenhof area) without permits or delays. Read more about our sustainability practices.

Embassy-standard documentation — Our invoices and reports meet procurement requirements for embassy and corporate reimbursement.

VOG-certified team — Every staff member holds a Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (Certificate of Good Conduct), the Dutch background check issued by the Ministry of Justice.
